On HD versions of the game (such as PC/Xbox/PS3), a glitch exists that means the seed will always be Seed 0, making the yellow, pink and purple eggs unavailable on these versions of the game without mods or cheats. The colours not in any of the 3 sets occupy all 3 slots, so they will always be unlocked. It is set up in such a way that 3 eggs can be considered a "set" and one set will never be chosen depending on the seed. Out of these 3 eggs, a randomly generated seed at Chao File creation chooses what slot gets chosen. A list has been provided below which lists Emblem requirements for both Shiny and Non-Shiny eggs, which has 3 indexes per slot. Any quantity of eggs, 1-5, have an equal chance per restock, and the same coloured egg cannot appear twice, whether it is Shiny or not.Įvery egg actually has an Emblem requirement of 999, in which a separate piece of coding handles what eggs are for sale and how many Emblems require them. Every unlocked egg has an equal chance to appear.
Eggs have a 30% chance to be Shiny, provided the Shiny coloured egg has been unlocked.
